Jurassic World Rebirth: Alternate Opening, Deleted Scenes, and More in Digital & 4K Release

Universal Pictures has officially announced the release dates for Jurassic World Rebirth on digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD. This film marks the latest addition to the studio’s renowned dinosaur franchise.

According to the official synopsis, “A new era is born. A covert extraction team races to the most dangerous place on Earth, an island research facility where dinosaurs too deadly for the original Jurassic Park were left behind. Their mission: collect DNA from three colossal creatures to unlock a drug with huge benefits for humanity. In a terrain populated by perils, they will make a shocking discovery that has been hidden for years.”

When is Jurassic World Rebirth out on Digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD?

Jurassic World Rebirth will be available for rent or purchase on digital platforms starting tomorrow, August 5. Following this, the 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release will be available on September 9 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Amblin Entertainment. Since its debut, the movie has received mixed reviews from critics, achieving a Tomatometer rating of 51% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, Jurassic World Rebirth features a screenplay by David Koepp, based on characters created by Michael Crichton. The ensemble cast includes Marvel Cinematic Universe veteran Scarlett Johansson, Bridgerton breakout star Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis, and Oscar winner Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid. They are joined by Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein.

The film was executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Denis L. Stewart, and Jim Spencer, with Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley serving as producers. It was produced by Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures, grossing $766 million worldwide during its theatrical run.
