Trump Could Be Deposed in Macron Defamation Suit – Owens Claims

In a shocking turn of events, Candace Owens has linked Donald Trump to a defamation lawsuit filed by French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron. This article explores the implications of this legal battle and Owens’ controversial claims.
Donald Trump Could Be Deposed in French President & First Lady’s Defamation Suit
In response to a defamation suit filed today by France’s President and First Lady, Candace Owens is doubling down on her seemingly fanatical assertion that Brigitte Macron was born a man – and she’s bringing Donald Trump with her.
Owens Stands Firm Amid Legal Action
Even with the legal action from Emmanuel Macron and his wife, no one realistically expected Owens to back down on her claims regarding the First Lady of France’s original gender. Just as she fuels the flames of MAGA discontent over the Jeffrey Epstein files not being released by the Justice Department, the controversy surrounding the right-winger has escalated, now involving Trump in the case.
Legal Bombshell from Owens
Doubling down on the assertion that 72-year-old Mrs. Macron is indeed a male and citing a recently overturned French libel case on the subject, former Daily Wire contributor Owens declared that the suit filed today in Delaware actually defames her.
“I find this to be irresistible and delicious,” Owens said on her Candace podcast, asserting that the Macrons are “trying to groom the courtrooms” with their claims. “The discovery alone will be out of this world. We would be required to depose Donald Trump.”
Trump’s Alleged Involvement
Amidst a bizarre shout-out to Kate Middleton and Prince William regarding verifying Mrs. Macron’s gender, the potentially shocking statement Owens made today builds on remarks she made back on June 30.
Last month, Owens teased a self-described secret that she had been keeping under wraps, revealing that she was told POTUS was listening in on a late February call from a White House staffer, in which she was apparently asked to stop discussing the French First Lady. A follow-up call from a “pretty high up” and “pompous” administration official suggested that peace talks regarding the Russia/Ukraine war could be derailed if she didn’t let it go.
Owens stated on her podcast last month that on February 26, she received a call from “President Donald J. Trump” himself in Florida, telling her that President Macron personally asked him during a visit to DC to help him get Owens to stop discussing his wife because she is “old” and it upsets her.

“I saw her up-close, she looks like a woman to me,” Owens claims Trump said. Noting the alleged great plastic surgeon that she has cited Mrs. Macron using, Owens then told the former Celebrity Apprentice host, “respectfully Mr. President, it’s not my fault that he (President Macron) married someone with a penis.”
The Macrons’ Legal Action
As today’s lawsuit makes clear, Owens hasn’t ceased discussing the subject of Mrs. Macron and her birth gender. Following a trio of retraction demands from the Macrons’ US lawyers, the Élysée Palace residents sued Owens in a 22-count jury trial, claiming that the intrigue-obsessed podcaster has targeted them to promote her independent platform, gain notoriety, and make money.
In that context, it’s evident that the French approach to media capitalism differs significantly from that in America, where notoriety and profit often take precedence.
Owens Critiques the Lawsuit
Also today, before delving into more on convicted sex offender Epstein and the recent news that a judge won’t unseal grand jury testimony as Trump’s DOJ desires, Owens criticized the Macrons’ lawsuit as plain old “goofy.”
“You are officially a very goofy man, Brigitte,” she said, before adding, “You definitely have balls.”
Labeling the lawsuit a “catastrophic PR strategy,” Owens advised Mrs. Macron to “fire everyone around you who said this was a good idea for you to be the first sitting First Lady of a country to file a lawsuit against a journalist in another country.”
“On behalf of the entire world, I will see you in court.”
