Power Book IV: Force: Premiere Date for Final Season

EXCLUSIVE: Starz’s Power Book IV: Force is set to premiere its third and final season on Friday, November 7, at midnight via their app and all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms. A new teaser trailer is available above.

Season Overview

Season 1 of Force followed Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora), who left New York after losing James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), LaKeisha Grant (La La Anthony), and the only city he’s ever known. His journey took a quick detour to confront an old wound that has haunted him for decades, leading him into a labyrinth of family secrets and lies he thought were long buried.

Tommy’s Rise in Chicago

As Tommy navigates the Chicago drug scene, he finds himself caught between the city’s two biggest crews. In a racially divided city, Tommy straddles the line, ultimately becoming the lynchpin that not only unites them but also holds the power to watch them crumble. Leveraging his outsider status, he breaks local rules and rewrites them in his quest to become the biggest drug dealer in Chicago.

Challenges in the Final Season

In the final season, Tommy returns with a growing list of enemies. With the Feds on his tail and street gangs trying to take him down, he is strategic in his quest to dominate Chicago’s drug game while protecting those he loves. This season, Tommy must poach customers from rival factions if he hopes to become kingpin, all while battling Miguel’s (Manuel Eduardo Ramirez) rising power and navigating an increasingly complex minefield of threats. With divisions within his coalition and personal life at risk, Tommy must balance offense and defense to survive and protect everything he’s worked for.

Supporting Cast

The cast also features Isaac Keys as Diamond Sampson, Kris D. Lofton as Jenard Sampson, and Adrienne Walker as Shanti ‘Showstopper’ Page. Additional cast members include Miriam A. Hyman as US Attorney Stacy Marks, Anthony Fleming III as JP, and Lucien Cambric as D-Mac.

Future of the Power Universe

With the conclusion of Power Book IV: Force, there are no shows left on the present timeline. However, as Deadline confirmed in June, Power: Legacy is currently in development from Force‘s Gary Lennon and Kendra Chapman. The show, which has not yet been greenlit, is expected to pick up after the events of Force‘s final season, with Sikora and fellow Power franchise star Michael Rainey Jr. likely to lead the project.

The prequel series Power Book III: Raising Kanan will also conclude with its upcoming fifth season, with a new series officially greenlit at Starz to follow. Power: Origins, from Sascha Penn, will center on the beloved duo of Ghost and Tommy during their younger years. Casting is currently underway for the two lead characters, with MeKai Curtis confirmed to return as Kanan Stark.
