Justin Manfredi Takes Charge of Worldwide TV Marketing at Lionsgate

Lionsgate has appointed Justin Manfredi as the new EVP and Head of Worldwide Television Marketing, marking a significant leadership change as Suzy Feldman retires after a decade with the company.

Lionsgate has announced the appointment of Justin Manfredi as Executive Vice President and Head of Worldwide Television Marketing. He takes over from Suzy Feldman, a veteran of the company for a decade, who is set to retire.
Manfredi’s Impressive Background
Before joining Lionsgate, Manfredi was with Apple TV+, where he led series marketing and global marketing strategies for acclaimed titles, including the Lionsgate-produced The Studio, which received a remarkable 23 Emmy nominations. His portfolio also includes successful campaigns for Ted Lasso, Severance, Shrinking, Hijack, and Chief of War.
Experience at AMC Networks and Activision
Prior to his time at Apple, Manfredi served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at AMC Networks, overseeing marketing for channels such as AMC, BBC America, Sundance TV, and IFC. He played a pivotal role in campaigns for popular series like The Walking Dead, Killing Eve, and Better Call Saul. Manfredi also contributed to launching AMC’s first SVOD and AVOD services.
Innovative Marketing Strategies
As the Senior Global Director of Digital Marketing at Activision, he was instrumental in leading digital campaigns for Call of Duty and Guitar Hero, transitioning gaming franchises into the digital realm with initiatives like the Call of Duty World League.
Looking Ahead
“Justin draws upon experience at three very different companies – Apple, AMC, and Activision – which makes him the ideal executive to lead our multifaceted marketing approach,” stated Jim Packer, President of Worldwide Television Distribution at Lionsgate. “He will collaborate closely with our leadership team to harness innovation and digital expertise as we navigate the evolving landscape of television.”
As Lionsgate adapts to a post-Starz environment amid declining revenues, the company is focusing on its television production slate, which has seen a 20% revenue increase recently, alongside library monetization efforts.

Responsibilities and Future Plans
In his new role, Manfredi will oversee all original series marketing and collaborate with the content licensing team to manage traditional licensing to global buyers. He will also focus on Lionsgate’s 30 FAST channels across 18 countries and ensure effective content delivery across digital media platforms.

Farewell to Suzy Feldman
Suzy Feldman is retiring after a decade with Lionsgate, where she served as SVP and most recently as EVP since 2022. Her tenure included marketing for hit series like Orange is the New Black, Ghosts, and the Power-verse. She also led the marketing efforts for Lionsgate’s FAST channels and played a significant role in the viral marketing success of The Hunting Wives on Netflix.
