Plot Overview
Aziz Ansari, making his feature directorial debut, writes and stars as Arj, an L.A. gig economy worker struggling to break into the entertainment industry. By chance, he meets Jeff (Seth Rogen), a wealthy tech mogul living a life of luxury in his Bel Air home. Arj becomes Jeff’s assistant, but after a mishap with a credit card, he returns to his miserable existence. Enter Gabriel (Keanu Reeves), an angel-in-training tasked with teaching Arj that money can’t buy happiness. However, things take a turn when Gabriel proposes a life switch between Arj and Jeff.
