Everything We Know About ‘Gen V’ Season 2 So Far

Gen V, the first spinoff of Eric Kripke’s The Boys series on Prime Video, is set to return for another thrilling season.

Release Date

Season 2 of Gen V will premiere on September 17 on Prime Video, featuring the first three episodes.

Episode Count

There will be a total of eight episodes in Season 2. Following the initial three episodes, a new episode will be released weekly on Wednesdays, culminating in the finale on October 22.

Returning Cast

Fans can expect to see familiar faces, including Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Lizze Broadway as Emma Meyer, Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap, and others. Newcomer Hamish Linklater will join the cast as the new Dean of Godolkin University, Cipher, while Ethan Slater will portray Dr. Thomas Godolkin, the college’s founder.

New Additions to the Cast

In November 2024, seven recurring cast members were announced, including Keeya King and Stephen Kalyn. Cameos from The Boys will also feature Erin Moriarty’s Starlight and Chace Crawford’s The Deep.

Tribute to Chance Perdomo

Showrunner Michele Fazekas confirmed that Season 2 will honor the late actor Chance Perdomo, who tragically passed away in March 2024. The production team emphasized the importance of commemorating his legacy throughout the season.
