The L.A.-based, New York-listed Kartoon is positioning the series at the heart of a broader initiative that includes content creation, digital education, merchandise, interactive apps, and a Bitcoin treasury strategy.

Set to debut on Kartoon Channel! in fall 2026, the series presents Bitcoin as a vast treasure kingdom. It follows five friends as they defend Satoshi City from threats that jeopardize the digital system maintaining its stability.
Character Synopsis
According to the synopsis: “Guided by the enigmatic mentor Satoshi Spark and Mr. Bitkern, the Guardian of Truth, the young heroes – Bitty Coin, the principled leader embodying Bitcoin; Blocky Chain, the gentle protector representing blockchain technology; Crypto Cora, the inventive coder; a wild miner racing to solve cryptographic puzzles; and Lightning Luke, the hyperactive speedster powered by the Lightning Network – unite to safeguard Satoshi City from villains like ForkMaster, who attempts to split the blockchain with dangerous forks, and Fiat Fred, who seeks to destabilize the system through endless money printing.”

The property aims to serve as a responsible introduction to the often perplexing world of bitcoins and blockchains, equipping children with essential knowledge about finance, freedom, and technology.
Adventure and Learning
Each episode will have the heroes explore new territories—from glittering mining mountains to secret vault cities—solving puzzles, cracking codes, and outsmarting digital bandits. Similar to a video game, they will collect rare treasures, which relate to digital scarcity; special power-ups that become increasingly difficult to find over time, reflecting bitcoin halving; and a backpack for securing loot, symbolizing wallet security.

Production Insights
Heyward noted his previous successes in producing animated versions of Super Mario Brothers for Nintendo and Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega, which helped establish those franchises. “We believe Bitcoin Brigade will have an equally revolutionary impact on the next level of entertainment, education, and gaming powered by blockchain technology.”
Collaboration with Bitkern
Kartoon Studios is collaborating with Switzerland-based Bitcoin mining company Bitkern, whose co-founder, Patrick Stich, will help steer the series and the global launch strategy.

Interactive Learning
Children will also engage with the Satoshi Sparks Rewards System, earning reward ‘Sparks’ by watching episodes, completing quizzes, and solving cryptographic challenges in companion apps. Sparks will function as a digital currency redeemable in a Bitcoin-only marketplace for exclusive merchandise, bonus content, and educational collectibles.
Future Plans
Plans for a global licensing program featuring toys, apparel, and interactive collectibles embedded with Lightning Network-enabled NFC chips are underway. These are designed to teach children about wallet custody, cold storage, and the immutable Bitcoin ledger. An interactive mobile app will feature secure, kid-friendly Lightning wallets for earning, storing, and spending Sparks, with parental controls and donation options to promote responsible Bitcoin custodianship.
Kartoon Studios’ CFO Brian Parisi will oversee the series and the broader project, managing financial and treasury strategies and collaborating closely with the consumer products division.
