Zach Cornell Discusses Morgan’s Secret Power Revelation on Big Brother

Zach Cornell, recently eliminated from Big Brother, opens up about his experience and reactions to key events in the house.
Zach Cornell Reacts to Morgan’s Revelation
Zach Cornell was eliminated from Big Brother last week, and Just Jared had the opportunity to speak with him now that he’s back in the real world.
On Morgan’s Disclosure
We asked him about Morgan telling Lauren about his unused secret power, if he’s concerned about what the houseguests will think of him once they learn he didn’t use the power, his thoughts on Rachel‘s nominations this week, who he’d vote out, and more.
Just Jared: Last night, Morgan told Lauren about your secret power. She prefaced it by saying she wasn’t supposed to tell Lauren and that she hoped you weren’t mad. What’s your reaction to that?
Zach Cornell: At the moment, it was 1:30 AM on the East Coast when that happened. I was surprised because she told me she would never disclose it. But it’s Big Brother, right? I’m out of the show; she’s fighting for her life in there. Lauren has the veto, so her move was strategic. I respect her effort to stay in the house. Once I’m out, she can do whatever she wants. I was surprised initially, but it doesn’t matter now.
Concerns About Houseguests’ Opinions
JJ: Are you worried that the houseguests will think differently of you for not using the power?
ZC: It is what it is. Everyone has their opinions. I stayed true to my intention to save Morgan, and I hope that reflects my loyalty in the house. I want them to see my character.
Thoughts on Rachel’s Nominations
JJ: How do you feel about Rachel’s nominations this week?
ZC: As a fan now, it’s entertaining. It’s what people wanted to see. It’s unfortunate that they were my close friends, but as a viewer, I see it differently. I’ll be surprised if Lauren uses the veto.
Who Would He Vote Out?
JJ: If you were still there, who would you vote out of the three?
ZC: That’s a tough question. If I were in the house without outside knowledge, I would probably want to see Mickey go. She was playing a strong game, and I perceived her as a threat.

Fan Perception vs. In-House Reality
JJ: Since leaving the house, have you seen anything on social media that surprised you?
ZC: Yes, there were a few surprises regarding fan perceptions. For instance, I wanted Keanu out, but now I see he’s popular among fans. As a fan, I support him now.
Keanu’s Struggles
JJ: There was some attention on social media regarding Keanu spending time alone.
ZC: I didn’t realize that. He was under pressure. I respect his need for alone time; he’s a great guy.
Exit Interview with Julie
JJ: How did it feel to be tapped by Julie during your exit interview?
ZC: When she smacked me? I can say I saved Julie and got smacked by her. I’m grateful for my time on Big Brother and the experiences I had, like the punishment with Rachel. Those moments will stay with me forever.
