Big Brother 27 Recap: The 6th HOH is Crowned as Old Alliances Shatter
As we enter the sixth week of Big Brother 27, Zach Cornell has been tearfully evicted by an 8-2 vote against Vince Panaro. This pivotal decision leaves 12 contestants in the house, with only outgoing Head of Household Ava Pearl ineligible to compete in the next HOH competition. Who will claim the coveted Head of Household key and gain the power to nominate three houseguests for eviction?

After Zach’s Exit
The episode picks up with Zach leaving the house after opting not to use his $10,000 “BB Buyoff” power. A miscommunication in the storage room leads to a massive argument between Rachel and Morgan, as Rachel believes Morgan wants her to sit in the jury house, a claim Morgan denies. Can these two strong players mend their relationship, or is their alliance irreparably damaged?
Two Pieces Away
Emotions run high following Zach’s eviction as houseguests seek someone to blame. Morgan admits her choice to keep Vince over Zach, citing the connections Vince could bring. Mickey identifies Keanu and Rachel as the biggest threats, while Rachel realizes she must win HOH to secure her place in the game.
Head of Household Competition
The houseguests dress for prom to compete in “The Party Slasher” for the HOH title. The objective is to study six rooms under attack by the slasher, who eliminates contestants in targeted rooms. After a series of rounds, Rachel emerges as the last player standing, claiming the HOH title.

Rachel’s victory is a relief for Ava, who hopes Rachel will make bold moves to divert attention from her own gameplay. Conversely, Morgan, Mickey, and Vince see themselves as obvious targets for Rachel’s nominations, while Will and Ashley maintain their connections to both sides of the house.
