HBO Max has announced its panel lineup for Deadline Contenders @ HBO Max, an Emmy-season showcase highlighting the stars and creatives behind the platform’s most buzzworthy nominated series.
Event Details
The event is scheduled for Sunday, August 17, at Nya Studios West in Hollywood. Full coverage of the spinoff of Deadline’s FYC event, Contenders Television, will begin on August 18, featuring news, galleries, and behind-the-scenes videos. To sign up for alerts, click here.
Participating Shows
As previously announced, the shows participating include Dune: Prophecy, Fantasmas, Hacks, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, Pee-wee as Himself, The Penguin, The Pitt, The Righteous Gemstones, Somebody Somewhere, and The White Lotus.
Featured Panels
The Last of Us will kick off the day with Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, and Kaitlyn Dever, along with executive producers Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, and guest star Joe Pantoliano. The White Lotus will feature creator Mike White, executive producer Dave Bernad, casting director Meredith Tucker, and stars Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Sam Rockwell, and Natasha Rothwell. Judd Apatow will moderate a panel for the docuseries Pee-wee as Himself, joined by director and executive producer Matt Wolf and executive producer Emma Tillinger Koskoff.
